Jess graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, and in 2016 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has had clinical experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and acute care. Her outpatient experience includes treatment of adult and geriatric populations with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions including post-surgical hip, knee, and back patients as well as general lower extremity injuries. Jess also has experience in the treatment of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting providing care to a broad range of conditions ranging from idiopathic toe walking to general sport related injuries.
Jess has been a part of the Sports and Ortho team since 2016 and splits her time between the Beverly and Lincoln Park clinics. Jess has been trained in the use of Graston technique, myofascial decompression (cupping), and completed her Fellowship in Applied Functional Science with the internationally renowned Gray Institute for Functional Transformation in 2018. Jess believes in establishing good communication with her patients to ensure their needs are met and that they are given the best possible patient care experience while helping them reach their full functional capacity.
As a local in Lakeview, Jess enjoys walking the lakefront path with her dog, taking the boat out in Lake Michigan, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
