Dana Brewbaker, PTA, FAFS, Physical Therapy Assistant - Beverly

Dana graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Southern Illinois University in 2012 and has been working in outpatient rehab since.  In ’18, Dana became part of an elite group of movement specialists when she graduated as a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) at the Gray Institute. She is able to apply this knowledge to when I help those with sports related injuries, orthopedic issues, and other varieties of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions from pediatric to geriatric ages. Dana strives to establish good communication and positive atmosphere for my patients, while taking into account everyone’s unique individuality through the knowledge she obtained in her fellowship. FAFS practitioners find and address the source of a patients issue, rather than alleviating pain temporarily, only for the issue to return. It’s an open-minded approach that addresses the body as a whole in order to achieve better results by restoring function in the kinetic chain.
