Who this is for

Occupational therapy can help if you

If daily life has gotten harder, you don't have to just work around it.

Our approach

We treat your life, not just the injury.

Occupational therapy is about function, the real, specific things you need to do every day. So we start with your life: what's hard, what you're avoiding, and what you want back.

Then we look at the whole picture, because a weak grip might start at the shoulder, and a daily task might be limited by something further up the chain. We rebuild the movement at its source so the improvement actually sticks.

How we help

Practical care, built around your day.

Here's the toolkit your therapist draws from.

Task-specific retraining

We practice the exact activities you need, breaking them down and rebuilding them until they feel natural again.

Hand & upper-limb therapy

Targeted work to restore the strength, motion, and coordination your hands and arms need for daily life.

Adaptive strategies & tools

Smart techniques and simple tools that make hard tasks easier while you build back your ability.

Home & work modifications

Practical changes to your space and habits that protect your progress long after therapy ends.

Insurance & getting started

No referral needed. Most insurance accepted.

In Illinois you can start physical therapy without a doctor's referral, so there's nothing standing between you and relief. We accept most major plans and offer self-pay options. Not sure about your coverage? We'll check it for you before your first visit.

Your first visit

Here's exactly what your first visit looks like.

1

We listen first

We start with your history, your symptoms, and the goals that matter to you.

2

We find the cause

We look at how your whole body moves to find what's driving your pain, not just where it hurts.

3

You leave with a plan

A hands-on treatment plan built around your body and your life, and a therapist who stays with you the whole way.

Good questions

Occupational therapy, answered.

Do I need a referral to be seen?
For most plans, no. In Illinois you can start therapy without a doctor's referral, so you can book directly with us. Medicare and workers' comp do require a referral, and we'll confirm your coverage before your first visit.
What's the difference between OT and PT?
Physical therapy focuses on how you move overall; occupational therapy focuses on the specific everyday tasks you need to do, like dressing, cooking, working, or writing. Many patients benefit from both, and our teams work together.
Is occupational therapy covered by insurance?
Most major plans cover it, and we'll check your specific coverage before your first visit. Self-pay options are available too.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We help kids who struggle with fine-motor skills, handwriting, coordination, and daily independence, always at their pace.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on your goals, and your therapist will give you an honest estimate after your assessment. Many patients see real progress within the first few weeks.
