Who this is for

This program is for you if…

Recovery after breast cancer surgery deserves specialized hands.

Our approach

Healing that honors what you've been through.

Breast cancer surgery affects far more than the surgical site. Scar tissue, radiation, and protective posture can limit your shoulder, chest, and neck, and it can feel scary to move at all.

Our therapists provide gentle, specialized care in a private setting, restoring motion and strength step by step, always at a pace you're comfortable with. You've been through enough. This part should feel like progress.

How we help

Restoring motion, strength, and confidence.

Specialized care, gently delivered.

Scar & tissue care

Gentle techniques that soften scar tissue and ease cording, so movement stops pulling.

Shoulder & chest mobility

Progressive work that restores comfortable reach, posture, and range of motion.

Strength rebuilding

Careful, progressive strengthening for your arm, shoulder, and posture muscles.

Lymphedema awareness

Monitoring and early-intervention strategies, with dedicated lymphedema care when needed.

Insurance & getting started

No referral needed. Most insurance accepted.

In Illinois you can start physical therapy without a doctor's referral, so there's nothing standing between you and relief. We accept most major plans and offer self-pay options. Not sure about your coverage? We'll check it for you before your first visit.

Your first visit

What to expect, start to finish.

Here's exactly what your first visit looks like.

1

We listen first

We start with your history, your symptoms, and the goals that matter to you.

2

We find the cause

We look at how your whole body moves to find what's driving your pain, not just where it hurts.

3

You leave with a plan

A hands-on treatment plan built around your body and your life, and a therapist who stays with you the whole way.

Closely related

Connected care.

One team, one standard

The same care at every clinic.

Every therapist on our team is trained in the entirety of the kinetic chain. That means we look at how your whole body moves, not just the part that hurts, and treat the cause instead of the symptom. You get that same care at all 10 of our clinics.

One proven approach

The same hands-on, whole-body approach guides every plan we build.

One standard, every clinic

Every clinic is held to the same standard, set by therapists with advanced training in how the body moves.

A team that knows you

You'll see the same faces at your home clinic, people who know your name and your goals.

Results that speak

You're in good hands.

Good questions

Post-mastectomy recovery, answered.

When can I start therapy after surgery?
Often within a few weeks, with your surgical team's clearance. Gentle, early guidance can make a real difference. We'll coordinate timing with your care team.
Is treatment private?
Yes. Care takes place in a private treatment room, and nothing happens that you're not comfortable with.
Can you help with cording (axillary web syndrome)?
Yes. Gentle manual techniques are effective for cording, and it's something we treat regularly.
Do you coordinate with my oncology team?
Absolutely. We work alongside your surgeon and oncology providers so your care fits your bigger treatment picture.
Is it covered by insurance?
Most major plans cover post-mastectomy rehab. We'll verify your coverage before your first visit.
