I started Sports & Ortho in 2003 to deliver the kind of care I felt was missing, one-on-one and genuinely hands-on, and that is still the standard every clinic is held to.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at McGill University, and later completed an MBA. The clinical training and the business training both turned out to matter. In 2003 I opened the first Sports & Ortho clinic in Beverly, and more than twenty years later there are ten.
My approach blends manual therapy, functional movement training, and whole-body biomechanics to uncover what is actually causing the pain rather than treating the symptom sitting on top of it. I have spent years mentoring and training other clinicians in Applied Functional Science, and that emphasis on education and hands-on care runs through every clinic we have opened.
