My name is Carneal, but most people call me CJ! I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Roseland community. In 2017, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science and Minor in Business. After completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued additional education in this field by obtaining a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020. In May 2024, I obtained my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis Program in Physical Therapy.

My upbringing, education, and clinical  experiences have all created my desire to help others, my drive for success, and my goal-oriented personality. These experiences have also given me the ability to be understanding, compassionate, and the knowledge to know how to work effectively with different populations in multiple settings.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing basketball, playing video games, cooking, and being with my family/friends!
