Thomas McCormack:

graduated from Rosalind Franklin University in 1987 with a Bachelors in Physical therapy. In the early 1990’s, he did course work through Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Tom also completed a B.A. at Aurora University. He is a GIFT fellow from the Gray Institute in Applied Functional Science with an advanced certification in Functional Manual Reaction (2008).

Tom returned to the Gray Institute to become certified in Applied Functional Science (2014) and 3D MAPS certified in 2018. He has been an instructor for Gray Institute Female Chain Reaction, assistant for When the Foot Hits the Ground and assisted with Synapse Spinal and Cranial Sacral courses. Tom is also certified in Primal Reflex Release Technique (pain and muscle tension releases). He adds 28 years as a sports medicine PT. He became certified in Graston fascial release (2010) and certified in Dry Needling (2020).

Tom’s area of expertise includes biomechanical evaluation in running, pitching, swimming and golf. He performs video analysis to help in his assessments. He has been casting for and making orthotics for 33 years. Tom is also a retired Battalion Chief for the Chicago Fire Department
